Hello, I'm having a few problems playing Hitman: Blood Money on my computer. I was using DHZeropoint drivers, but hadn't gamed with them. When I tried, things didn't show properly, so I switched to a standard nvidia driver. However, without any overclocking I am seeing black squares show up on the left side of my screen during the game. It runs perfectly other than that, so I'm going to assume it's a driver or bios issue.
Is there a way to rid myself of these artifacts? I've tried many different drivers, but none had a different result. Before my last reformat I played Black and White 2 with no problems, so I know it's not the game being too much for the card. Even when I run dxdiag the artifacts will show up on each direct 3d test.
Any ideas?

I'm going to try another driver.
I have been working on this problem for awhile. At this point when I run Dxdiag, the dx8 test runs w/o artifacts, but the other two show the two squares on the left. -
No go...
Any help? -
What kind of graphics card do you have? What version of DirectX are you running at? Also, do you have the 1.2 patch installed for Hitman: Blood Money? If not, you can get it here (I'm assuming your running the English version of the game): http://ftp.eidos.co.uk/pub/uk//hitmanbloodmoney/patches/hitmanbloodmoneypatch12_eng.zip
I hope this helps. -
how old is your card? It may be deteriorating. Do you experience artifacts in any other games?

Thanks for the replies. My signature has the card, but it is:
nVidia geforce 6200go 128mb RAM/128mb turbocache
I know it's not a high end card, but it's not super old either. And it's pretty dec for a 14" (at least it was in January). It can run most games on Low settings and some on Medium (like Hitman).
The computer is 6 months old, so it's most likely not deteriorating. This is the first time I've seen any artifacts. And they do show up in the dxdiag tool. However, I don't have any other games installed...may have to change that soon.
I am required to have DX9.0c installed for HM:BM so I did that (and reinstalled to test it).
