    Artifacts in TrackMania Nations?

    Hi. Sometimes when i play trackmania nations(especially at the beginning when the entire level is in view) some textures flash for a split second. Sometimes i get parts of the track flashing wierdly too. I can't capture it because they only last a split second.

    I ran ATI tray tools artifact tester, fallout 3 and 3dmark06 and NO ARTIFACTS. The laptop was also pretty cool at that time.

    Is there a problem with my gpu( MR x1700 128MB)? System in sig.

    I use catalyst 8.12. Doesn't sound too old to me...

    trackmania is a game made for nvidia cards which you may already know because it says so before you install and it ran like crap on my ati 1900, I wouldnt worry about it.

    Shadows are set to medium. The performance is great on 1024x600 (35-40 fps) with car quality set to medium.

    So there's nothing wrong with my GPU? I'm asking because in about 3 weeks my warranty expires.
