I'm really itching to jump on these two games (played the second one, but passed the first and brotherhood), but I'm curious how well the PC versions perform, especially with a gamepad. It was really easy on the Xbox 360 so I'm hoping they ported it well.

Has anyone played these games on PC? Give me feedback!

I have played every Assassin's creed game to come out on PC, and personally I love them, while ac1 and ac2 shine more than the expansions of Ezio's story in my book.

They all perform smoothly always 30+ fps average on my Laptop usually at near max settings. The great part of Pc gaming is that you can use the same Xbox 360 controller that you are used to for PC, which is a big plus for port games like AC and Batman Arkham Asylum or even Skyrim!

But checking your system's specs, I would recommend investing in a new gaming laptop/desktop or you will be disappointed in the performance. (Actually definitely stick to the xbox 360 console if buying a new pc is out of your budget right now).

That's good to hear :D I was just worried the controls would be all funky or something.

And I'll be playing it on my desktop, so it should be fine.

Given the amount of button mashing involved and that it's third person, I'd say it works better with a controller.

I've played AC:1,2, and brotherhood all with keyboard and mouse, and it's not bad. I usually set a couple keys to my 4th and 5th mouse buttons, but other than that it's worked just fine.
