Assassin's Creed II Delayed

Yet another awaited title is delayed until Q1 of 2010. The console versions are coming out on November 17,09 but for PC, we have to wait. I am really really disappointed. Share your feelings!

Good thing my PS3 is coming back before that date.

 

I feel that it will be like an unwritten rule or tradition to release PC version after months of console release.

 

At least Bioware is still holding it down.

Honestly, they have to actually start doing delays (I think) because more and more people are playing on their PC's and not on their consoles--not a good thing if you heavily rely on console sales and stuff.

 

No, I cannot take that. I cannot just sit and watch my friend's playing it on PS3 and am waiting months to have my hands on it.

 

I'm starting to feel like it may be a better idea for me transition to the consoles next generation. I just can't justify a 2K +gaming computer anymore. Regardless, PC gaming is here here to stay.

 

I don't know, Windows 7 out in a day. DX11 and Assassin's Creed II delayed. (Assassin's Creed one of the first to DX10 and DX10.1) Could just be that Assassin's Creed II is a DX11 game. If not what does it matter. PC version is always the superior version, this is a fact.

 

The first one is boring as hell

 

Hm, first one is $5 until tomorrow on STEAM.

 

PC delays are bs. But I can wait for this title as I found the first one kinda dry.

 

I liked the first one. It was like Prince of Persia + Hitman = Assassins Creed.
So, I will be sure getting this title.

 

And PC users get shafted yet again! yet again! and yet again!

 

I know, how many more blows can PC gaming take? Many of these developers and publishers really wouldn't mind if PC gaming just disappears the next day, they wouldn't bat an eyelid.

At least with the first game which was also delayed on the PC, Ubisoft gave it a few exclusive extras, no matter how small, I'm surprised they bothered to since their not exactly a fan of the PC. Yet for Prince of Persia, they refuse to give it the DLC the console versions get.

 

They are making so much more money off the consoles compared to the PC that they simply don't care about the PC versions of the game nearly as much as they should.

Consoles are ruining PC gaming.

 

Maybe we should nuke Xbox and PS3 manufaturing city.

 

Good thing it's still coming for the consoles on time.

 

What about the 30 million + Units of the current gen consoles that people own

 

Don't worry they will fail with some sort of problems. We will destroy the parents resulting no eggs. Hatched eggs will go bad anyway.

 

before we know it half life 2 episode 3, a game which was originally only on pc, will be released on the ps3 and xbox before pc

gta was originally for pc.
now they release on consoles first.
its better to do that cz... it forces me to buy a ps3!!

I disagree, ever tried to play a sports game on the PC? The bigger market is console gamers. Not only that, but people will pay more for the games in the first place on consoles. Hard to justify putting first priority on a PC version when it will have less users and a $49 price tag (at most) as opposed to a $60 price tag

 

Its likely that the delay is similar to Dirt 2 - Wanting to polish up code for DX11 and really make a stand for what a pure DX10/DX11 game can do.

 

I've waited this long, so I can wait longer! I don't mind. It is slightly annoying, yes... However this delay does nothing negative to my wanting to buy it. Hell, I am still going to get the Black Edition or whatever it is. The one that has the statue of Ezio and stuff. I bought the first game off of Steam for $5. It is repetitive, yes. But if you treat it as a hack and slash game like I do (and believe me I go absolutely psycho with the mass murder), it is an amazing game! Lots of fun!! It talks a lot about 'stealth' and 'being discrete'. Screw that! I kill any and all who are in my way! I'll even start huge battles with guards, and run around the city to get dozens and dozens of guards to try and kill me. They never do! I murder every last one of them, and some of the last few guards try to flee but I kill them anyway! Yes I love this game. Maybe a little too much...

The second version touts having tougher guards, and that you'll be forced to run. I'd love to put that to the test. I'll murder every last one of those guards who are dumb enough to draw a blade against me! MUAHAHAHA!!

 

Ya'll need to relax.... its a couple month delay, get a life.

 

You need to chill out. It would be okay if this was the only game, but this has happened many times in the past, where the PC version gets delayed by months over the console version. So each time it happens, its more rubbing salt in the wound.

 

PC developers must come through with anti piracy softwares rather than delay games.

 

Ok, this game is releasing on Mar 16, 2010. Thats really too far.

i honestly dont mind the delays. i try to pick up games 6 months after thier release anyway so i can hit it while its about 20 bucks. (doesnt work in every case: ie: cod mw, warcraft 3 (why the hell is it still 40 bucks for the battle chest!?!?)) the pc game delay should just allow the hype to drop since everyone has been playing on the consoles and prices will drop dramatically over a short period of time.
