Has this issue been resolved by Ubisoft yet? It's summer so I want to beat this game, I got the season pass and everything.

So what's the news on this game? I wasted a lot of money didn't i....

Nope, AMD still crappy performance so if you want to beat it go and do it.

Wow, and that's the last dollar I give ubisoft. Man what a shame, the best Assassin's Creed game and I can't play it. I wonder if I can get a refund, hmm...

So I heard nvidia released a profile that fixed the problem mostly for their users?... What's the chances of AMD attempting that? Because even on the Ubi forums the thread about this problem has reached over 100 pages. So I guess we can safely assume that ubi ditched the idea of optimizing ac3.

Oh yeah, do desktop cards have this problem?

I don't know since I chose and AMD card, been out of the NVIDIA news loop. But I heard it wasn't necessarily a fix, but some kind of "profile" that helps with the boston fps issues or something like that.

I found a youtube video, basically it just tells you to turn of vsync and update drivers to 310.70.... not much help. I was running without vsync all the time and boston was still crap.. has AMD done anything btw?

Yeah I saw that, I have the latest drivers and no they haven't really done anything. I even tried lowering down the resolution to like 1600x900 and the fps didn't change.. I really wish there was a fix, because running in DX9 mode without vsync should fix any game. -1 for Ubisoft in my book, they owe me $70... gee I wonder how i'll repay myself ;)

I am relaxed, I'm just wondering if he knows that desktop users with a 690 and a 3970k are experiencing the exact same problems... Buying a new rig isnt a solution
