I'm sure many of you are already aware of it, but I just picked up AC4 from GMG for $45 using this link:

    Assassin

And applying the following code at checkout: GMG25-J4B0D-FLH8M

They also have several nice preorder bonuses in there compared to other shops.

P.S: Don't you come to me to complain if the game will turn out to be lousy in the end :p

    Steam or UPlay?

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter. Even when purchasing, downloading and running a Uplay game from Steam you are still required to install, update and log in to Uplay to play anything that uses this awful draconic DRM.

But some games are simply too good to pass up, at least on paper.

Anyway, this seems to cut the middle man and work straight of Uplay.
