I've yet to go to a Wal-Mart to see if it's there, but the guy from GameStop said it's shipping as of today, and they should have it on the shelves, but they didn't for some random reason.

Anyways, anyone got it yet? Anyone played it yet? I'm really curious about the "official" and legit version, not the pirated one.

    Cheers!

Ha! I was going to post this yesterday, but I saw Steam lists the 9th as release date. I would like to get it a day early too.

I am also looking forward to this. I got half way through on the PS3 and traded the game in because the frame rate made me barf (80% of the time less than 24 fps IMO)

Yep I pre-ordered it through my local gamestop and I got it this morning. I'm working on the review as we speak. Probably will have it up tonight.

I wonder if it`s going to live up to the challenge.

Yeah well I played a good amount of it on the 360 so I had some of my review done like the gameplay mechanics and stuff. I'm just testing the controls, graphics, new additions to the pc, and basically how it all transitions to the pc. Stuff like that. So far its smooth as butter. I primarily want this game to show off the graphics which are stunning. :)

And you'll find out. :) Actually I think I did a pretty good job with this review though there are tons of stuff to talk about in this game.

So what fps are you getting and at what settings?
I heard that its a 3/3 detail level rating instead of low/med/high ?

    Gosh, don't feed his ego.

    Psh, Forerunner reviewing stuff...psh.

Lol, whenever you decide to rate a multiplayer game give me a PM if you need any 'assistance'. I'd love to be part of an NBR gaming review.

I submitted a review right around when his first review was posted...needless to say NotebookReview never emailed me back or acknowledged I wrote anything. I ended up just posting it in one of the subforums.

I guess I was too little too late.

Yeah storm there is a spot for you. I like my coffee with cream and splenda. Chop chop!

Sure let me know. I would love to do a collaboration.

edit: I'm not acknowledged for it either in terms of it being an official part of the site. I just do it because I enjoy it and when I have time. I'm not being paid or anything.

Splenda is just so bad for you though!

Yeah, I am not interested in money, I just wanted someone to post it somewhere. No problem though, I ended up just posting it in the accessories section. I think it is still there somewhere under "OnAir Creator Review".

I don't have quite the motivation or time to fininsh a game quite as close to release as you have, so that is why I'd be totally up to helping you 'test' any parts that require multiple people (like multiplayer). Just want to be helpful, NBR is my primary posting ground these days, so I wanted to boost the community appeal.

We need an IRC channel, lol.

Same here. Referred a good amount of people to NBR. These reviews are my way of giving back to the community I suppose.

We are on the same mission it seems.

I see, sorry to hear that. I am glad that you have the heart to contribute to the NBR community. I will be expecting your personal review as well from now on, may it be just multilayer or not. :)

I got dips on mario kart wii review :p written reviews are pretty easy but im treding on video reviews now which are more work but also more fun, atleast for now they are since I am learning video editing.

Maybe if I can find a copy of assasins creed I will cook up a little video review for it too, should be easier to do a pc game review since I can capture direct with fraps and not have to hook up my gamebridge and stuff.

For those who wonder how it performs, I use 4/4 in Graphic Detail and Graphic Level (I belive the last one was called that) on a 8600M GT 512Mb DDR2@510/1200/460, [email protected] and 2Gb DDR2 without any frame loss on Vista x64 Ultimate that is a bit run down and should be reformatted :)

EDIT: Of course I use the DX10 version.
    EDIT2: 1280x800 Reso

Anyway, I like the game so far, I like good story telling :p
