Far Cry was pretty dull so I'd rather play Assassin's Creed. I probably won't play either, however

Definitely Far Cry 2. First, I loved Far Cry. Second, I've played Assassin's Creed on PS3 and while it's fun and has many innovative features, it gets repetitive after a while and, consequently, not enjoyable.

They say it should be approximately like Crysis.

Assassin's creed gets boring real fast. Repetitive stuff after the first few hours.

    Hmm i really enjoyed AC.

I'm more excited for Far Cry 2 after reading all of the planned features...
lets hope they actually implement them.

@ notyou: Zero Punctuation is hilarious and the only place to get horribly pessimistic game reviews :)

I'll be looking forward to each game,

I think how much a player enjoys a title depends on himself.

Have you even seen the plans for the Cryengine2 ? There are like 500 complete games coming off of it and like 6000 mods

And Crysis is supposed to get more and more maps over time, as in not a steady rise but a huge increase

It was announced recently that a March date was set for release. I can't remember if this date was pushed back again though.

after checking some videos and footages i gotta say that far cry 2 is shaping out very well, though it looks alot like crysis, and since i've been playing many fps lately i think i might skip it (atleast for a while) and get assasin's creed instead, i really want to try something different and AC is just that..

AC since i like middle age fighting more than futuristic shooter (which you get weapons that totally pwn your enemies)

I'd get both, though the previews for Far Cry 2 are even more exciting than the preview for Crysis were.

Assassins Creed is the same repetitive stuff. Go to city A, find out out you need to kill target B, eavesdrop and pickpocket person C, commence with kill. Same. Thing. Every. Time.

I can't even bring myself to finish the thing. The game is way too linear for the massive environment they put you in.

I dunno, I don`t recall hearing about new titles, and the new ones I already have...
    Timeshift,Crysis, UT3,Bioshock(what a waste),Medal of Honor Airborne,Blacksite Area 51...

I`d love some adventure games, that`s why AC is what I want...

Don`t really like RPG, I`ve played Diablo and Oblivion though..
I`m still waiting for Diablo 3..if it will ever get released.

I forgot to mention, played the Orange Box, the Serious Sam Series(all 2 encounters+ss2)...
