As a big fan of the series, Ubisoft has announced the third and final chapter in the Ezio series. You get to play as Ezio and Altair in this game however. Here are more details:

Assassin’s Creed Revealtions art, details, teaser released | VG247

Once again its coming out on PC (yay) in the fall this year. AC2/AC:B were very good games and I look forward to this.

Well, Assassins Creed is Ubisofts strongest selling title atm, so i dont think they dare do a Kotick on that series.
Looking forward to the release myself.

If the previous AC games are any indication, the PC version will get delayed and then be released a few months later with a DLC.
Regardless I love the AC series. I cannot wait for revelations. I will be buying it the collectors edition on PS3 and then for PC when it gets released.

I didn't like the first one, loved the second one (apart from the DRM), the third one looks worth buying and I look forward to the fourth. It is always good to see the PC platform getting releases. I foresee a good future for the PC but yoda I am not......

People are saying that this might be released at the same time as consoles. But if history has any indication, there may be delays in the PC version. However, if its a minor delay (1 or 2 weeks), I'm totally fine with that.

You know what would be cool? An assassins creed game set in the 40s, where he kills Hitler or something :)

Bump, because I'm really getting excited about this one. The only thing that I don't like about this is the new tower-defense scheme :( I don't think I do very well in those types of games. But everything else looks amazing. It's a darker kind of a game style.

Yeah I hate weirdly tacked on minigames like these. Like a random driving level, or anything else that relatively briefly departs from the overall game style.

A big reason why we haven't heard anything about a Brutal Legend sequel.(a big gripe about DX:HR, too)

Already have mine preordered, two weeks!

Yeah I'm pretty pumped about it...I'm a little burnt out on Ezio's story though, I've been ready for the conclusion for a while

Ugh, how can they not sell it before christmas? Though if they rack up the price to above $60, I'll wait for a few months until it comes to more manageable levels.

I don't get it...how can games charge $60 in this kind of an economy?

Because they know people will buy it regardless, like Apple.

If there to increase the price for the PC version to $60, they would have done it already. I doubt itll go up. (for revelations anyway)

I like how the colors are dark and muted in this new game. Lots of smoke :D

considering how ridiculously huge game budgets are getting these days, it's a little more understandable a cost

another reason I get Gamefly for all my non-PC gaming needs ;) <3

been with them 5 years, saved something like 6000+ bucks(I crunched the numbers, and play a lot of games)

Too bad it's for consoles, so it's pretty irrelevant since this is a notebook gaming forum.

The digital download rental service may be interesting. Can't own any games through Gamefly though, only available as long as you subscribe to them.
    - Though few people play a game over and over and over again.
