well i finally completed assassin's creed after having to reformat half way through the first time.was a great game and had a great story line, but the ending really left me wondering.i was just wondering what everyone else thinks Assassin's Creed 2 will be like, or would want it to be like.
i think that in the next game some remaining assassins that the templars didn't get to break desmond out of abstergo, or lucy helps him escape. desmond goes on to try and stop abstergo with any remaining assassins. of course desmond with be able to use many of the abilities used by altair while in the animus, but now there will be guns and present day cities to go through and new abilities.being able to scale large buildings and go inside buildings.
i've read in other threads people thinking it will continue with what happened after altair killed the "master" and so on, or going back into the animus and help them find the artifacts even further. which would also seem fun.
i also read that ubisoft plans on waiting a few years, cause of the prince of persia fail. which is gonna suck especially with the ending the first game had.

Im only on memory block 4!!! But i could sort of tell that the next game wont be taking place in the middle east. All those japanese symbols flashing about made it obvious.
I still think that the next game will have the split time dual storyline design. There is still the Assassin's creed and ubisoft will be stepping too far away from the original design if you wont get to travel back in time again and play as an assassin.
Its going to be interesting though because desmond isnt japanese, so theres no way that he can become a samuri in the past. Will attaire make an appearance in japan?!! How will ubisoft explain this discongruency. -
The game's ending has a meaning to it. If you didn't catch it then i suggest you take another look. The next game will be of another erra. The writings in blood all over the place from the last prisoner shows hints at the next game, and possible series spanning through different erra's. Therefor I don't believe there will be an Assassin's creed 2, rather, an extension of the game with an extended title.

I don't have the game, but from what I've read, AC seems to be very repetitive to play, but just visually very good. I hope the next game gets more diversification. Maybe I'll consider purchasing it.
For now, where is SC:Conviction?! -
