well im debating between the two, i took a look at gentech pc to see how much it would cost to customize the c90 to the same specs as a g1, and it costs more. i just want to know some differences between the two. i know they both have an 8600 gt gddr3, however the g1 has one that says 256 mb (up to 1g), that means that it can use 1gig through the turbocache, but is that worse than just having 256 mb like the one on the c90.

This thread is probably more at home in the Asus section, there is myself and several other C90 owners (as well as a ton of thread, including one that has G1S vs C90 on the first page) Then there are several G1S owners too.

When we got ours the C90 was much cheaper, As a DIY guy I was able to build my entire c90 to spec well above the G1S for 1400$ but as the C90 has some issues with compatability I think we mostly agree its worth the extra money to have your etailer fully assemble it for you to avoid problems, that will take it closer to the G1S in cost.

Still tho not equal are they, the C90 will have more cpu power and upgrade options, while the G1S will have more battery life and you say cost less.

So a few searches and you should have more than enough informantion to decide for yourself wich is better for you. Or just go a few pages deep in the Asus section and read the threads that have C90 or G1S in the title.
