Retailer leaks next-gen AMD Radeon HD 8000 mobile graphics inside Asus Vivobook
Came across this article this morning. Looks to me like AMD is chugging along with the next series without giving us our non-beta 7970M drivers yet. Lol.
(I just realized this doesn't belong in these forums. Mods, please move to the graphic cards section. Sorry.)

Looking at the size of the laptop, we have another HD 6770M rebranded?

There are some more "leaks" today too:
The 8000M series will be announced @ CES 2013 (January 2013) and the names are based on the solar system and will recieve two codenames: Mars and Venus
Rebrands or new GPUs announced?

Don't know if there's any more general thread on the 8000M-series, I must be blind in that case because I can't find it.

i wonder what theyre gonna name their two enthusiast gpu classes if the 8800M series is already mainstream? would it be 8900M and....what? 9000M? 8970M and 8950M would still be two gpus of the same class. theres still one above that (or between 8800M and 8900M). both possibilities dont really make sense to be honest... looking forward to more info on the highend class!
