    Heya! Had the MSI competitor to this the GE62VR, which in my opinion is better.

    I currently have the GL502VS with 1070 and can state that this laptop series is not terrible, but you will have to make changes to get optimal performance out of it. Found the laptop for $118x.xx and thought it was too good to pass up.

    The 1060 is a very suitable card for most games at 1080p, specifically the 6GB and G-SYNC. Its a fair balance between performance/power/cost. However, very demanding titles will tax that card at max eye candy or as you start 4K gaming. It will have moderate performance for VR.

    I have no clue on the screen of that model, someone else could probably look it up.

    I enjoy the tactile keyboards, but I liked the aesthetics of the MSI better in that regard.

    The profile of the laptop is VERY NICE. But with that comes heat, and in some configurations you may need to UV the CPU to maintain consistent temperatures. Not everyone has suffered that issue, but more than normal.
