    Hello i just got a 7770 since my old laptop died and was curious which card does this compare to in the notebook world?

    6990m/580m would be the closest I think

    It's like a current midrange notebook GPU. 580M, 675M, 670MX, 760M, 6990M are all pretty close I think.

    7870M is the same configuration at a slightly lower clock.

    Yep 7770, 7870M, and 8870M are all the same GPU with different clocks.

    7770: 1000/1125
    7870M: 800/1000
    8870M: 725 (775 w/Boost)/1125

    It looks like 8870M is closer.
