    Can't you just rename the file before downloading it? You know, the save as function and save it as something else and not .exe, but something like .changeme or sometihng. That's how I get files through MSN, I just change the extension.

    Did consider that but the IT chaps here seem to have wised up to that trick! Even if you right click and go to 'Save as' then the systems stops with an access denied message.
    Ho hum, will have to wait until I sort out broadband at home I guess, no great strokes. Thanks for the help,
