Hi there, I recently bought a HP 8510w for school and it's got a V5600 inside.
I tried to play some games but didn't get much out of it so I went to see what version of the drivers I've got and it's outdated (07/2007).
However... there's a desktop counterpart of the V5600 and I'm puzzled as to what driver I need to download...

Here there are drivers as well, I really don't know which one I need :s

Then another question... How do I uninstall the drivers effectively? I tried doing it but I kind of messed up, I uninstalled every ATI application in the add software tab but the catalyst control center is still installed... Even after the use of drivesweeper (I used ccleaner as well to get rid of temp files and to tidy up the registry)
Then when I installed the driver it gave no warnings or errors but when I went back to the 'dxdiag' tool I saw the driver wasn't actually updated...
So maybe I just downloaded the wrong driver :s

BTW, the ones that are in the uninstall thing in the control panel are:
    ATI catalyst install manager
    Catalyst control center branding
    and lastly:
NVIDIA Drivers (kind of odd, no?)

To uninstall them just launch the catalyst install manager and uninstall through that, then make a pass with driversweeper.

To install the latest drivers available, download the one AMD Game, then use the Catalyst Mobility Modder to make them installable on a notebook.
