I have a few questions concerning this card:

    1) Notebookcheck shows this card has a 3dmark06 score of about 7400 average. Was that the old 512MB they tested?

    2) This card uses 128bit memory. Does that mean that likely it will not use all 1GB (or 512MB) of the memory?

Well this should probably be moved to the GPU Q&A, but I'll answer before they move it.

    1) It's been proven that differences in VRAM rarely impact 3dmark significantly in cases of a same GPU. At least, for 512mb and 1Gb on a 128bit bus I'm pretty sure this applies.

    2) it most likely won't simply because VRAM is most useful when gaming at high resolution, something that the HD4670 might not be able to handle fluently with all games.

The 4670 is a great midrange card, but keep in mind that the high 3dmark scores you've seen are probably at 1024x768 instead of 1280x1050 so again, at low res's this card performs great, and you probably don't need more than 512 MB for that.

However, more is great if it doesn't cost you much
