Bioshock2 is absolutely amazing. The graphics are incredible, the game-play is addicting, and using a drill is more fun than a gun somehow.

From playing the beta, and being a long-time fan of the series, Bad Company 2 does not disappoint. Plus, it has a 10ish hour singleplayer campaign of its own.

I've always preferred Call of Duty, but after 4, I've always been somewhat disappointed. I'll check out the Battlefield series at some point. I just watched a trailer and it looks pretty cool.

    IMO :p

    I've purchased both BC2 and Bioshock 2. :D

I think Bad Company 2, but I'm not really into games like AVP and Bioshock.

BC2 is a better rounded game. Meh singleplayer and a great mutiplayer that you can play for months. Bioshock 2 would be a close second because it has a great single player but a not as good mutiplayer.

Or switch them around depending on which is more important to you I guess. Single or multi experience. AvP is a distant 3rd.

Bad Company 2 is AMAZING on the PS3 demo!

AvP Multiplayer is horribly unbalanced at the moment; everyone was either predator or alien and I was the cannon fodder with the only marine in the server :| The guns fire like something you drop in the toilet haha

I REALLY wanted AvP, and have been super excited for it, but after reading some of the reviews I think ill just rent it on 360 and put my hard earned $50 toward Bad Company 2, hope its good and will have 64 player support I hope.
Thats for helping me decide everyone!
    see you online!

Looks like critics aren't liking AvP :(

How could you f*** up with such awesome subject material? Is this another case of a game being pushed out for release long before it's ready? Or were the developers unable to smell the turd in front of them?

That's a hell of a question... I really enjoyed the previous two releases and was hoping for more of the same, but alas....

Bad Company 2 MP will probably last several years, since most competitive COD players are migrating to that game; MW2 really dropped the dime on the dedicated servers.

That's how I see it as well. I was already unhappy with how 5 compared to 4, but when 6 came out 5 suddenly looked really good. I still have to recommend Bioshock2 for the great single player, but I will most likely get Bad Company 2 to take COD4's place as the everlasting multiplayer game :p

Vote went to Bioshock 2 but Bad Company 2 will be sick too. I just loved Bioshock and since I already bought Bioshock 2 on Steam I had to vote for it. I do have Bad Company 2 pre-ordered too. I personally want Bioshock 2 for the single player and BC2 for the Multiplayer, so decide which is more important to you although both games have both SP and MP modes.

Edit* you're talking about Beta right? that you weren't able to log into servers.. cuz BFBC2 is released March 2. I'm thinking you know this just want to confirm.

I'm sticking with BC2...really hoping that there'll be some custom mods and such too like the old battlefields had.
