Well not really bad, I got a 3757 on my MBP. The thing is that on the review posted here at NBR, it says that the MBP 2.4 with 2GB ram scores almost 4700. With more ram, I thought I'd score better or at least very close to that score. To my surprise was pretty low considering.
I'm very happy with the gaming performance, all I play is BF2 but someone please explain this.![]()
EDIT: Sorry, I was talking about 3DMark06.

Want me to use that score on your sig, MYK?
-
Well, yes actually. I think it's good enough. The thing is, mine was running at 1440-900 while the one on review on 1024-600 or something of that sort. I just wanted some re-assurance. -

i'm only getting 2316 on my new new MBP. tell me why that is! i started a thread about it.
-
2316? That is pretty low. My guess is:
1. You are useing the crappy bootcamp default drivers.
2. You are using vista.
3. You have the 128MB version of the 8600M GT
Even with all that your score is a bit low. Should be getting 2700. Well try new drivers for the graphcis card and see what that gets you. -
-
Yeah your score is fine. I am having a hard time recommending drivers. The 158.28 drivers from laptopvideo2go work for me (find them here: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/xp) but I have heared others say that it crashes their macbook pro. Maybe try the 158.51 drivers, they are a bit newer. If you dont want to overclock you can even get a 16x.xx driver.

masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
162.18 is like my reference driver.
its solid. -
I'm going to try the 162.18 driver that masterchef recommended. -
BAD 3DMark scores on MBP!
