    BATTLEFRont 2 problem

    theres a problem with my comp. when i play certain space maps my comp freezes and then theres a wierd noise like a disc spinning and then it gets faster and stops then I have to shut my comp down by using the power button. HELP!

    Do you have any background processes running? I know some IM programs can cause lock-ups such as the ones you are experiencing.

    Also, try updating your video drivers, that may help.

    i have updated my drivers and thats not the prob. what system processes can i stop without hurting my comp. i already delete all other processes except explorer.

    I'd try temporarily disabling your firewalls, see if that helps.

    Have you tried a full un/reinstall of the game yet?

    uninstall it...delete the directory files that it was in...and reinstall it...same thing happened 2 me but to a different game...i did that and it worked!!!...should work for u 2

    which drivers did you fix it with? And do you remember which drivers you used previously?

    I keep crashing in the single players campaign, second mission where its the space battle above Coruscant.

    I'm using an Asus Z71V laptop (Nvidia 6600 Go vid card), and 80.40 nvidia drivers.
