That's strange. Do you have many other programs running in the background when you play?

Can you set Windows not to restart automatically when the fatal error occurs?

    Here's How:

Right Click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Start Up and Recovery > Un-check the Automatically Restart box.

Then proceed to cause the error again and copy down what the blue screen says.

Then hold the power button down to manual reboot and tell us what you got.

It is not recommend that you turn off virtual memory especially if you only have 1gb of RAM.

Well maybe, did you try checking the event logs?

Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer

And then check all the logs for error messages at or around the time of the BSOD.

If you turn off virtual memory with only 1gb of RAM and BF2142 uses all of it, you will BSOD because of no memory.

    Do not do it.

Ok well maybe this will help, i got the message again, and i read it all, and it said "Problem with ati3duag.dll" if that tells you anything. if there is not a blue screen problem, then it crashes to my desktop, and this only happens in multiplayer matches, not in single player
