    BF BC2 Keeps Disconnecting!!!

    I forwarded my ports and put a static IP. I run it in Admin mode and got all the PB files. What else could I possibly do?!?!

    go to PB website and update PB manually... this problem , which was there in BF2 might be happening to u...

    It probably is the game. DICE has confirmed many issues with the game, especially 19x.xx drivers and 200 series video cards, as well as ATI load times -- to name a few.

    One thing that could help is to delete your entire BFBC2 folder, in your Documents folder, then go back in-game and redo your settings. Apparently this has helped several people.

    Drivers causing disconnections? I could delete that folder though. Thanks anything helps at this point.

    I just tried this and the game lasted about 25-30 mins before disconnection so its an improvement. I guess I will re-install.

    I wouldnt re-install m8, the game really is simply put, damn buggy right now. It could be a plethora of things -- server side options, client settings, drivers, netcode.

    Make sure that you have updated the game, use drivers other than 19x.xx series. Play on servers with low ping ( try different servers), shutdown any Anti-virus, Malware crap in the background.

    * also change your sound card audio frequency to 16bits 44XXXhz -- this is one of the biggest FPS gains and CTD fixes available.

    it was quite buggy for me to start with

    luckily i brought through steam and the patch they brought out for the steam version of the game removed alot of the problems

    mine seems better now, although adding servers to favourites can be hit and miss
