    BF2 + 8600M GS + vista = ???

    okay, i got myself to buy the game, now the problem is opening it- once i open i can't return it for 30 bucks ;\ id rather not waste my time so im wondering if anyone with THESE SPECIFIC SPECS (8600 AND VISTA) has been able to play bf2? i know my previous laptop would freeze when trying to view teh server list. any help would be appreciated before i wake up and open the game :x

    I was able to play it.. runs quite well

    got the F3SV - 8600GS with 2GB RAM and Vista

    i havent tried bf2, just counterstrike source and command and conquer generals/ zero hour keep crashing on me, so id like to get what driver he is on if hes got games going, but it seems like im the only one that is having problems with any games, everyone else is running them perfectly (as far as i know) so maybe i have a hardware issue.

    The 101.6something drivers from tweaksrus is pretty good too.

    I play it fine on high settings with my X1600 on Windows XP therefore you should run it just fine.

    As long as you have at least 2gb of RAM.
