Can use a joystick when flying planes/heli's on BF2? specifically a logitech 3d xtreme or joypad like an RC helicopter type

Also my mic wont work, i think its the fact that im using vista64. It gave me an error about my OS when i first installed it. Im running latest v1.41 patch

Yes, you can use a joystick, and a lot of people prefer it for the helicopter and particularly the jets (I'm fine with the mouse on the heli, but I practiced a lot). =)

thanks umm how do you set it up?? I just wanna use it for jets because the mouse doesnt give me enough flexibility to dip down and pull up

Id like to use a stick type joypad for the heli like my RC heli, only if i could plug in my old spektrum dx7
