Anyone know what the 'Backup' directory is for on Battlefield 2?
It almost takes 1Gig in Hard Drive space. Would I be in trouble if it's erased?

Is it not in your 'My Documents' folder?
I doubt any 'harm' will come of deleting it - other than losing all your saved games?
They should be in the main game folder, but you might want to check and see if there are any configuration files in it first though?
And it would be an idea to back it the folder anyway - before you go deleting it, just in case deleting it does affect the game for some reason?
You can then just copy the folder back if needs be -
You don't have to backup anything for bf2 because all the stats are saved on ea's server, unlike COD4. If you want to save your favorites then go your documents folder and you should see a bf2 folder which should only be a few MB if i'm not mistaken.
