I'm trying to set up Voip on BF2.....now when I run a hardware check for my mic, it appears to be in working order. But, for some reason, it is not being picked up by the game. I rin the mic test, and my voice doesn't even register. I've even gone into the BF2 Voice Setup.exe file and tried to set it up there but it still doesn't pick up the voice.....any suggestions?

This seems to be a pretty common problem. A number of friends use standard 1/8" mini connection style and USB style mics. They all work fine in windows(using the recorder option). Hardly anyone I know gets theirs to register much on the threshold test(mine barely shows). However, a number of them, the mic just doesn't work at all in BF2's VOIP, but it'll work fine in Teamspeak or Ventrilo. Played with the BF2 threshold settings with no luck.

Did you open all the ports on your firewall that the VoIP needs? There's a bunch of them in the readme file.
