Suddenly the game just wont start anymore. The BF2 logo starts, then it jumps back to the desktop.
Had no problem before, but the problem started when I upgraded the ATI graphics driver. Have tried to reverse to the driver I used before, but no luck.
Anyone else with the same problem? or\and a possible solution?

go to add/remove programs ad remove the ati driver and find the older version and install it. I too have never had any luck with driver rollback.

    Been there, done that.
    I never "rollback" :)
Guess I have to go further back in the driver list and maybe try the old omega drivers.

Save yourself the trouble and reinstal BF2. I had that happen SEVERAL times on my PC (that has an ATI card in it too, x700 pro) and I have found no way to fix it other than to reinstal the game.

I reinstalled the latest omega drivers and it still wouldnt work. Then I reinstalled BF2 and voila, the game started and everything worked. That is until I installed the latest ati drivers, same problem. Looks like the game doesnt like when u install new drivers to your graphic card. Or it may be that I added native resolution to the commandline (1400x900) before I installed the ati drivers. Who knows.............
Hopefully DIce willl sort this out with the 1.4 patch.
