I've read a lot of reviews on this system and heard a lot of people say that the game should run fine on it. What I want to know is if anyone out there has played BF2 on their G1, how high their settings are and how well does it run. I'm asking this because I hear a lot of people say how good the G1 is and I believe them, but I haven't heard from anyone that actually owns the G1.

It should run on High Settings with 2xAA smoothly.

    Why?

    Because it has a Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0Ghz
Because it has 2gb DDR2 RAM
    Because it has a 7700 512mb dedicated

I'll tell you once my brand new G1 arrives sometime next week or so... :)

BF2 is one of the games I want to play on the little beast.

I'll post my tests here soon... :)

I can play BF 2142 with most or all settings on high online without any difficulties. I choose to turn a few things to medium so I stay at 60 fps just because that is my own personal weirdness. With settings on high it never dipped below 40fps at 1280x800.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I have a G1

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Looks like it'll be a G1 for me when it's time to buy. Thanks all. RayanMX, still waiting to hear BF2 runs when you get yours.
