I'm getting this memory.dll error when playing bf2142 and bf2 on my 570ru. I have googled the hell out of this, and found a patch to apply. It didn't seem to work, though I now get more time inbetween starting to play and having the game crash. The exact message is: 'memory.dll: sanity check:block size -120614950 (2945.73MB)doesnt seem sane'
I thought it might have something to do with laptop ram or something. I also tried reformatting and reinstalling vista64 and then reinstalling the patch, and I still have problems.

    Specs:
    M570RU/Sager 5790
    Vista64
    2GB Ram
    7950 GTX

    Thanks!

It's looking like turning the settings to medium solved the problem, though it's not an ideal solution.

Try setting textures only to medium. Everything else should work fine on high.
