I just got Battlefield 2142 and I was playing it the other day on my notebook (specs in sig).
Does around 25-35 fps sound right to you?
Playing at all medium settings, 1024x768 resolution.
    Thanks.

Well, It does, I mean if you add another 1gb of RAM it would help TONS.

Other than that I might just say that BF2142 isn't exactly too greatly optimized...

I know more RAM would help, but I can't afford it at the minute.
I just thought it seemed a bit low, as Doom 3 runs at 60fps no problem with most things on high.

I get around the same FPS as posted above 25-35 with a 512mb 7600 card. And only 1gb of ram. It is playable offline on hihg settings but i have to go medium for online. I dunno how much of a difference 2gb of ram would make or not.

    I haven't been online yet.
I hear the BF games eat RAM, so more RAM always helps performance.
