After 16 hours of downloading on a 512 kb connection, I get a message that BF2142 is counting down to release in 5 days! Does this mean that in 5 days I will be able to install it right away? Or will there be any more downloading to do? I have just deleted the demo version, that is still ok right?

I have been playing the Demo for a few days now. If anything, the game does not suck. It's like BF2 with some new vehicles.

Where can you get the demo. Is this a pay for play? Will it run on this computer?

Well I downloaded the demo. It took 2 and half hours. Once I clicked on exe it hung. I tried to pull up task manager nogo. I had to power down. Once I attempted to reboot and got to where you click on your user id icon my system would shutdown and reboot. (because I have Norton Go back). I attempted to boot into safemode and it would reboot (because Go back found it to be unstable. ) I attempted to use Go Back to return to previouse time but because I just installed the earlier today it only had one date. nogo. I tried to disable go back and it locked up. nogo. I had to format and reinstall. Needless to say I did not install Go back since it would not let me troubleshoot the issue. I was truely disapointed I wanted to test a 3d game on this machine.
