Hey I am seeking some urgent feedback within the next 24 hours (only cause BF3 is only on sale for 1 more day).

But basically I just wanted some feedback people's gameplay experience on the PC. I don't really need info on which game is better.

I am curious for instance I heard BF3 is horrible on the PC not because of the game but because you have to be logged in origin and sometimes origin doesn't work properly and you have to be logged online too for something.

I haven't heard to many complaints or positives for MW3 on pc though. except that a lot of people say they prefer it on a console.

Also has anyone returned a game on steam or origin? how's that process like

MW3 is good for 10 hours (single player campaign) but then it is basically same MW1 we played 5 years ago (except for some new fancier maps) and you don't play multi at all..

BF3 on the other hand, some maps are just crazy good and for multi, even people who are not gaming a lot are spending at least 100 hours on multi.. so go BF3, better choice by far.. also graphics-wise BF3 is like lightyears ahead of MW3 :)

bf3 ftw! mw3 is like a deja vu for me as the usual cod games. graphics wise and by map consideration (they released new bf3 maps recently) so i'd go for bf3 anytime.

The only complain for BF3 is that Dice is taking too long patching it up.
Hurray for premium expansion DLC too. >_>

On release, BF3 was amazing, but buggy and quirky.

Most of that buggy/quirkiness has been patched at this point.

CoD:8 reuses the same engine, and many of the textures, models, and sounds from CoD:6, and it's a much simpler game in general. There's less to it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

You won't be returning either game, so you'll have to commit to your decision in advance. You can watch gameplay and reviews on youtube and other sites.

ok thanks guys, seems like no1 had issues with connectivity. That seemed to be the biggest issue on amazon's review page was being disconnected or not being able to connect because of origin or some type of verification thing.

The Call of Duty series has slowly crept from a Serious-but-Fun, Mildly-Tactical Shooter (CoD 1 & 2) to a full-on arcade game Thats what it really boils down to, it just Serious Sam with semi-cartoonish characters.

Its still fun, and a guilty pleasure, but its not what it started out as. World At War changed the dynamic just a bit too much. MW changed it again to the point that Medal of Honor became a better title and more true to the first couple of CoD titles.

Meh, sometimes I still have connection issues (random disconnects, not able to join any servers, maps don't load), but this only happens once every 10 games are so and it's easy to fix.

No issues with connectivity here either. I think the server search interface is a little foreign at the beginning as its not the regular in-game server search client.

Get BF3 now as its half off. Get MW3 later when it comes on sale for cheap. MW3 is literally a re branded product so only thing you are missing is the story line.

They're both good games. I prefer BF3 to MW3, but they both have their respective merits.

MW3 is a more casual type of game that you can jump in with your friends and learn very quickly, and leveling doesn't take a whole lot of time. BF3 is a much larger game with more emphasis on tactics, and the additional gameplay elements like bullet physics, vehicles, medics and so on.
