BF3 Co-Op weapon unlocks

Want to unlock some guns, need co-op.

I play US time EST 8 pm or later. My tag for Origin is Target_Tango

I'm patient enough to wait for an NBR member who will use the NBR BF# mumble server to play this.

 

Need someone to co-op who actually pays attention that I'm there. Tried public match and dude wouldn't even help me up when I was down.

Who can fly a helicopter?

I'm decent at flying the chopper, but for some reason there's no way to choose who flies and who guns in that co-op mission. I did it with a friend a while ago, and he's an awful pilot but the game gave him control every time and he just kept crashing. We even tried switching hosts, and it still took probably a hundred restarts before it let me fly.

 

Gah wish BF3/Steam/every other game wasn't blocked by my college... oh well thanksgiving is soon, maybe I will hit some of you up for some COOP

I have a pile of projects I need to hammer out. Today is no sleep day so I can get some stuff done. By this weekend I should be playing some BF3 and we can use my mumble server.

Yes, I've done most of the co-op now with people from NBR... On Mumble. There are a few like the helicopter where I just did a random.

Still need lots of points and I like some of the co-op missions, so happy to do em with any of the NBR dudes, as long as I'm not the helicopter pilot

Yes. Some of the best guns are unlocked by Co-Op.

The best IMO, semi-automatic assault rilfe in the game is unlocked by co-op, the M39, the successor to the M14. Though in BF3, it's used for Recon, which I think is terrible. The M39 is an all purpose gun that can be used as a semi-automatic assault rifle, and it's actually not very accurate at far range. Should not be a Recon rifle IMO, just one of those any of the classes can use.

And one of the best automatic assault rifles, the G3A3 rifle is the last weapon to be unlocked. Also a A15 carbine S533 or whatever it's called is unlocked for engineers. A few pistols I believe as well.

 

I just finished unlocking everything (the easiest way is to do some mind numbing grinding with the last mission and blow the bomb, it takes less than 2 minutes to get4-5k) and I was a bit disappointed by the m39, I think the rate of fire is slower compared to the equivalent in BFBC2. I am using the revolver coop unlock too as it is the most powerful handgun, waiting to get the magnum at a higher rank.
