So still enjoying bad company 2 on my asus G72 and sometime next month me and a couple friends are gonna purchase BF3. Ok, so thats fine, only one problem really. Im from the Caribbean and origin shows my prices in euro? I mean really??? Ok origin gets an X even though i do understand that if i buy the game ill have to deal with it anyway.

What are some good digital download sites and how do they work in regards to policy? Im looking at amazon right now and the digital download price is the same as if i were to buy a boxed copy, not cool but tolerable.

Only question i have right now is can i purchase multiple copies of a digital download and gift them later? Or if not what site might allow me to (D2D, GOG, etc..)? Sigh how much easier this would be if it were on steam.

    Thanks for the read.

Nearly all of the newer EA games released activates without issues on Origin.
It is very much like Steamworks enabled games.

You either buy a boxed copy at retail, or a license key from a digital store and activate it.
If you already played Bad Company 2 then your EA account also works as your Origin login.

I wish PC as a platform could have a unified delivery system but we do not.
Having only Steam as an option would not work either, think what would become if they where the only player in town?
No need to host sales if there where no competition?

Im only annoyed because origin isnt as polished as steam (it'll get there, but until then) and for a service that wants to take my money away from me, scores no points there.

Origin is very nice here in Norway, it displays it in local currency, not euros like Steam and its very competitive over retail & Steam.
Amazon has been very cheap with EA games lately, and if you can access it then by all means check up on the daily deals there.

As for Origin you can use VPN to access the US site.
I tried it when i was activating my BF3 early, so might as well pick up some cheap games with it until MP starts kicking in.

But to actually answer your question: Yes, if you buy multiple keys from a digital store, you will recieve an email containing the activation instructions.
Then you store the keys and distribute them among your friends when ready.

I did it when i bought two keys for Bad Company 2 + DLC.
