Why do you need to update your bios on the GPU´s? Do you want to overclock higher just raise the voltage one snap.

Yep but that is the CPU not the GPU. He can unlock more voltage in Nibitor if he wants for his GPU´s.

I totally recommend against it. It already maxes out at 80-82C , so raising the voltage for more OCing would definitely get you in the upper 80s...

Yes I agree with eleron. You can overclock through Ntune 6.03 to 625/1500/950 and settle for that. It is enough and a really good overclock considering they run at 500/1250/850 stock.

Ok so if I overclock it from 500/1250/850 to 625/1500/950, how safe it is and what will be the avg temperature as well as increase in frame rate??
    Thanks

Depending on the game, you will see a benefit.
    Magnus, a small correction, it`s actually 799 there, not 850 :D
I keep mine OCed at 610/1550/950 when gaming , otherwise, powermiser does it`s job and keeps them underclocked.

Ha ha yes sorry about that Eleron, 799 on the mem is correct.

Actually the temps doesn´t increase at all for me with the overclock I am running at. There is something weird with these XPS´s. They mantain the same temp stock as overclocked on the GPU´s. Gotta love them for that.

So its 100% safe to overclock it to ur given settings right?
    So should I use rivatuner?
Also will it decrease the life of GPU?

Ntune is the only overclocking program that works.

What's with so many 8800M GTX owners caring about the name 9800M GT?
