hi I need help with the newest nvidia drivers. I have a geforce 8600m gt GPU and i tried to install the forceware 163.69 but it doesnt work. at the beginning, it tells me the drivers dont fit my hardware (i know i have this graphics card). after tinkering with it a bit, i got to a screen that told me I am not running 32bit vista, which i know i am. so i dont no if its bad drivers or what, but i really need help because i dont think my GPU is working correctly. When i first got my comp, my overall rating was a 4.6 on the Comp. experience rating. But now that i rebooted vista to clean out some bloatware, i lost my nvidia console even tho i tried to install the drivers and my comp runs at a 4.3. HELP! thanks in advance.

... look where is says: Original INF only supports:
CODE: the 8600GT is in that list
I downloaded that driver following the instructions and it worked. I was able to play bioshock when it was complete -
I had a problem updating the drivers on Vista 64, so I reverted to Vista 32.
As soon as the latest drivers with WHQL (released yesterday) are ready, I'm gonna give them a go. In the meanwhile, I downloaded the Bioshock demo. So I'm good to go
BIOSHOCK/NVIDIA drivers please!
