    Anyone here play BMW M3 Challenge and realize that you cannot use the handbrake? I've tried setting it to different keys on the keyboard but it doesn't work, so I have to drift by downshifting. Anyone know how to fix this?

    I’ve driven M3 in BMW M3 Challenge for a while before I moved to M3 Challenge mod for GTR2 and RaceON- it’s the same thing though- M3 Challenge ported to GTR2 (games use the same engine).
    Handbrake works- although I use Momo Racing wheel so it’s mapped to gearstick for sequential gearbox (I use flappy pedal gearbox for gear changes) rather than key on a keyboard.

    Hmm I re-ran the game and the handbrake seems to work (reduces speed and revs when used) but doesn't seem to have a significant effect on drifting. Like I can be turning, pull the handbrake, and nothing happens.

    Also is it just me or does the M3 in the game understeer severely, especially if you are off the track? I can be going at 100 km/h, turn, and still go forward. I'm pretty sure a RWD race car shouldn't have this problem.

    It doesn't understeer with a force feedback wheel- but that gives you feel that keyboard doesn't so this may be a problem.
    I drive M3 a lot on Nordschleife in RaceON and if I overdo it M3 becomes rather tail happy.
    Off track your control is so impaired that it's hard to judge- I have never driven a road car at more than 10mph on grass so I don't know how it should behave.

    If you own GTR2 or any of the Race titles (Race 07, Race ON, GTR Evo) you'll find this game ported to these.

    EDIT: I somehow missed a few posts :eek:
