Ok I was actually really surprised at the reaction to the GoldenEye Source got here. I want to make some more folks aware of some other good stuff out there that maybe over looked. This is a fun little number that just explodes at a LAN.

Babylon 5 I've Found Her, a FREEWARE game. Back in the day there was a company called Sierra working on a little game called Babylon 5 Into the Fire, basically a B5 flight Sim. This would of been any scifi geeks wet dream, but it got canceled do to troubles in the company and technical issues of a game this advanced. Basically the game was ahead of its time and would require PC power that wasn't there and be the time PC power would be there B5 would of ended and people would of lost interest. In come some nice Russian gentlemen (I can't believe I said that) would decide to say screw it and develop there own B5 flight Sim with some really modest system requirements.
This game will fly high on modern systems and still look great and it will fly high on older and I mean really older systems and still fly high (I got this game to run on my EEE!!!). Its fun, but not for the faint of heart, first and foremost its a Sim, thus complicated controls that took me a while to get down. Second its freeware and being developed in the free time of some great folks so its slow coming. We are on version 1.15 and the campaign hasn't been released, doesn't mean this game isn't worth the download. It has a pre-campaign showing you how to fly the things, skirmish mode (dog fighting) and some scenarios (both (un)official and fan made).
The cons, not to out weigh the pros, are again complicated controls, space free flight can be disorientating and the lack of an actual game campaign. The pros, it will run on just about anything you can put it on as long as it has some sort of a 3D accelerator (an EeePC 701 played it). Its multiplayer, set up a local server for you and some friends to fly around and frag each other (with or with out bots or big destroyers).
SPECIAL MENTION FOR MAC USERS, THERE IS A MAC BETA FOR THE MAC OS. ENJOY!

Sierra? It dissolved? I thought it's still around...

Where did I say it dissolved? I said trouble, not dissolved. After all we wouldn't have this wonderful Battlestar Galactica game that we have without them. I think the problem was the company tried to make a series game.
Correction: Guess they did go bye bye.

Fan of Sierra checking in. Ground Control, anyone?

Ooh, nice find. How does it compare to the total conversion Babylon project on the FS2 engine? I never got to try it due to lack of joystick.
