So i reinstalled windows on my p150em, and after i install the hotkey driver, the backlight control doesnt work anymore. these controls are fn+*, fn+-, fn+/ and fn++

when i uninstal the hotkey driver, these works again.

Also, when i click on the hotkey icon in my toolbar, the hotkey panel doesn't show up. i did install .net framework 4.5

the other functions work, such as volume, sleep, brightness etc. (fn+f2, fn+f1 ... works)

also, i am on windows 7 pro 64 bit

opps wrong forum, can mod plz move this to clevo/sager forum?

Do your THX audio and intel rapid storage programs open up fine? I used to have some trouble with those not working correctly due to .Net problems. You might want to try running windows update to attempt to quickly get the redistributables you need.

ive got 1.3 version loaded but it hasnt got the red X to exit the software so i have to ctrl/alt/del to get out each time.
supplier sent me updated version 1.4 but it fails to load with error boxes so i gave up on it as dont change backlit much.
i will upload the software when i get home unless if someone else gives a link first as im at work and cant do much on this computer.

First thing I'd do now is completely uninstall hotkey, then reinstall it through the driver disk that came with your Clevo. Give your computer a restart and see how it functions. If it functioned previously and now isn't, there might have been an error in installation. Did you get a system restore disk with your system? When I had bad AMD driver problems I would always roll back on the system image rather than a new windows install.

i did try to uninstal and then instal, restarting the laptop with each step.i just reinstal the OS so i dont really have any restore disk point.
