Okay so I'm looking into a laptop. Like everyone I want to spend as little money as possible while getting everything I want it with some compromise. The problem is that I like to game, but none of the new games (cost too much money to justify) so I like to play the games I currently have namely Baldur's Gate 2 anyone remember it?

Here's a link to the requirements:

I just want to know how powerful of a video card and other stuff do I need to play this game? Will intergrated graphics be fine or do I need a dedicated card? etc. I really don't care to play any of the newer high powered ones, I've got game consoles for those.

Any modern integrated graphics will be more than fine for Baldur's Gate II. I don't think that even had any sort of 3D in it, did it?

Really though, yeah, you would be able to play BGII with just about any laptop probably made in the past 5 years, frankly.

Integrated graphics will be fine for BGII. My brother in law plays it on his IBM with integrated graphics while he is Iraq.

thanks everyone, this will help me a lot because I didn't need to spend the money on a nice graphics card if I'll never use it.
