Hi guys I sent my 8690 in for a upgrade and got the new ATI 5870. My old 285M ran the game perfectly however when I got the laptop back and ran the game again I was prompted to install Nvidia Physx system toold or else the game wouldnt boot. After doing this I ran the game an all seemed fine.....until I got into game play were I got awful lag and such.

Anyone got any ideas as I would love to finish the game that I started.

Is PhysX on? You're running an ATi GPU, so you'll need to disable PhysX in the settings.

Theres 2 launchers in the game directory(Binaries folder) and one is for all the graphic settings before the game starts ... The physx option is at the way bottom... Bmlauncher.exe i believe is the one with all the settings you need... I am not infront of my laptop but i think thats the name of the exe you need...

I don't have the game installed any more (got to 100% completion, so I had nothing left to do), so I can't find it right now, but there's a .ini file that you can edit, if you can't find the option yourself (some users have had this difficulty). Do a google search for 'Batman disable physx' or something and you should find which file it is you need to edit.

Just like, what, 99% of games released since 2005 or so? Earlier?

If you buy the game, but don't buy an Nvidia card, then Nvidia's advertisement (which they paid a boatload for) failed. Isn't that a win for an ATI fan?

I had no issues with it with my G73 either so it could be a driver issue.

Maybe you could try the new ATI Catalyst 10.3?
And also patch Batman: AA to latest version.

    Good luck. :)
