Hi, I tried to do a search but no luck here.

How does Batman: Arkham City run on Crossfire? I heard there were some issues.

There is a deal right now through Origin for Batman: Arkham City for $10 with a purchase of Mass Effect 3, I just wanted to see how this game is running first.

    What the F?!

So I placed this post specifically in the Alienware Forum where it could be reviewed and possibly answered by those with a similar set up, now it has been cast to obscurity? The moderators need to put the crack pipe away.

Maybe someone with an HP Pavillion will be able to answer my question in the forum this thread has been sent to.

I can't say for sure as I havent played Arkham City on the PC, but I've read that there are only really performance issues with crossfire when trying to play it in DX11

    Hey Vulcan,

Batman AC works great with my setup.
there were major issues upon release but they've been smoothed out somewhat with all the patches (both to videocard drivers and the game engine) it's surprising that the game got out in the state it did.
with the updated drivers and game engine, DX11 runs smoothly now and crossfire really benefits with loads often over 70 - 90% on each card.

it's a fantastic game, shame about the drm, but for $10 it's a must man.

if you haven't played Batman AC, you're missing out of one of the best imo.
with the 5870's in xfire you may need to tune down a few things like tesselation, but it should run fairly smooth.

btw i could see this in the alienware m17x forum so it's all good (i think)

Same as xeroxide, except for DX11 it is still broken for me. What settings do you use in DX11 xeroxide? And what drivers?

Thanks everyone, I am on AMD's 11.10 drivers, from what I hear 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3 result in BSOD and flickering in some games like Skyrim so I am still awaiting a crossfire friendly driver that will alleviate the issues in some of the latest games.

Will pick up Akrham City, thanks again!
