i posted a question asking if BF2 would run on my lappy, and turns out, it does! it runs at low settings (of course) at 800x600, but its very smooth. no laggy parts (so far). very much playable (imo. im used to budget computers)

Im sitting here wondering why you felt compelled to make this topic
DO you have some kind of question?
-
Well, it's nice to see the game works fine on your laptop but was it necessary to make this thread?
-
oh it was
just to let other people know that it can run on intel igps basically.
-
it's not suprising.. this is a 2005 game...
-
It would help though to post actual framerates. Watch it turn out how all of those people in the Crysis thread would say that their game was "smooth" but it actually ran at 10 fps.
-
Since Intel showed that Battlefield 2 would run on a Intel GMA X3100 i would not be suprised that it worked for you too.
My little brothers underpowered aka slow Compaq CQ60 with a Intel Celeron and Intel GMA X4500 (Identified as gl40 by GPU-Z) runs it with no problems. -
The desktop X3000 can run it at 30 fps at everything high 1024x768, so with 4500MHD mobile you might be able to run it equal/better with similar settings.
Of course you need latest drivers.
