it just doesn't work.. bought the game and brought it home, then installed it with no problems... although install disk 1 hung for a while. When I get into the game, it's fine, until the map loads and then there is no menu to select which squad to go with. The crosshair's, map and the HUD also don't show up. I'm a little ticked off now. But i'm running:

MOBILITY RADEON 9000/9100 IGP Series AGP 64.0Mb
    Toshiba Satellite A70
Mobile Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06Ghz (2 CPUs)
    446MB RAM
    Microsoft XP Home
    Realtek AC97 Audio

It is a good laptop and runs everything else fine. It does like to overheat, but that's not the case here. Any help would be great, I'm at my wits end.

Hate to say it, but if you want to play BF2 you'll probably have to upgrade.

I am terribly sorry but Battlefield 2 does not support your video card.

yeah, i can't upgrade my card, RAM yes, card no. Which sucks. I was reassured by the sales associate that this game would run with no big problems on my laptop, yeah right. But I should've known all he wanted was a sale. Maybe I'll go back and pay him a visit. Thanks for the replies anyways.
