I´m surprised there´s still no thread about the recently announced Battlefield 1 by Dice.
Setting: World War 1
Release: October 21 2016

killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
If I haven't seen that trailer before (which uses a horrible rendition of Seven Nation Army BTW), I would have thought that EA is also remastering BF 1942...
Anyway, pretty sure Wingnut already pre-ordered the super duper mega deluxe season pass limited edition Battlefield 1 edition. The rest 5 and a half people on these forums probably don't care, so hence no topic.
Also, Verdun FTW!
Doesn't matter though, Activision will still get their share of millions for the newest Call Of Dootie. -
And in my opinion the BF1-trailer is miles better than the CoD.TomJGX likes this. -

.
And beats me, haven't seen latest COD trailer, just know general information about, so can't really judge one with another.
Now you won't get pre-order weapon skins, an extra horse type, and the ability to use Gatling gun class... -

I'm pretty hyped, I've always wanted a World War 1 shooter but anyone I brought up the idea to said I was retarded for thinking that.

I was curious when this thread was going to pop up... I personally can't wait, will definitely pick up at launch assuming no major show stoppers. Love the trailer, love they are doing something at least a little different.
Very excited.
And, I haven't seen it, but that Office parody is absolutely fantastic lol -
Well considering Infinite Warfare is well on its way to the most disliked video in YouTube history I think gamers have spoken pretty loudly on what they want/wanted. Some are peeved that IW is being greedy as all F and making you purchase that garbage piece of crap they're releasing just to get the remastered COD4. Most are pissed off at how terrible the game looks, the engine is dated, and its the same rehashed pos game they've been releasing for years now.
Its the same game with a different skin. Finally gamers are admitting to franchise fatigue and ready to play and experience something completely different. I almost preordered, but am waiting to see a bit more content before I decide either way. Also the beta will be open to all.
That office themed reaction video is pure gold. -
I got franchise fatigue with bf4 big time. I think I've only played about 3 hours since I got it day 1.
I haven't checked out this trailer yet but if it's more like 1942 I'll be interested. -
There have been too many modern day and futuristic shooters lately and I´m glad they went back in time. Remember when we only had WW2-shooters flooding the market and Modern Warfare swooped in? This shift is long overdue imo.
Hopefully we´ll some gameplay at the EA event around E3. -
Based on the video from the Activision CEO (or whatever lead guy it was) he basically sounded like they don't care about dislikes, BO2 originally had a horrible initial reaction but it's one of the most beloved CoD games. Plus they said pre-orders are highest they've been. So despite the number of dislikes on YouTube CoD players don't talk with their wallets like they should.

New COD will get craploads of money, so will the new rebooted Ghostbusters movie, even though its trailer also had a bad reception. -

I wonder why this trailer remind me of Bruce Willis and GI Joes....oh wait.
