    Hi there :)

This game is a bit out of date, but It used to be one of the games that run on my laptop almost at max. I have a integrated intel graphics card. I installed the game last wednesday. Since then, I havent really connected the internet or installed new programs, but today morning, the game just didnt want to work as always. I used to get an average of 30fps, but now, I get 30 fps but when 2 or 3 enemies (not allied, just enemies) approach the performance drops to 2fps!

Isnt that a bit weird? I havent installed anything, I havent changed the configuration (I tried setting everything at lowest, resolution to 640x480, and still same problem)

    Please help :(

reinstall? Defrag? Also update your video drivers, maybe that will help?

No, it's because of the "intel graphics card", it doesn't handle multiple characters on one screen well (more polygons). I had the same kind of video card back with my old desktop, and Battlefield 1942 would suddenly drop frame rate rapidly.

So there isn't anything you can do about it, other than set the visual to minimum.

but the problem is that, last week I played with almost everything at max, 640x840, and medium-high number of bots with 19% of CPU given to AI.

now, with everything set to lowest, 640x480, lowest number of bots and lowest AI, i get sudden dropdows (fraps said from 69 to 2fps) when two or three enemies are in my field of view. Isnt that a bit weird? I wouldnt complain if i had 99999999999999 people on screen, but just two people and having problems?

look, here is everything ive tried

    - Downloaded Tune Up and used everything (Trial)
    - Checked for adware with ad-aware
    - Cleaned manually my HD
    - Cleaned automatically my HD
    - Defraged 3 times -> I dont know why it says that there are files on EA GAMES that cannot be defragged...
    - Checked for apps running at the back
    - Lowered graphics detail
    - Downloaded all patches for sound video and CPU and chipset

    only last thing

    - Format HD
    - Sacrify someone on behalf of LAPTOP GOD

You could try defraging in safe mode

Did you set your screen to its native resolution? What about its refresh rate, did you ever consider that?

resolution is at lowest (640x...), refresh is at 60mhz, which cannot be changed, and graphic settings are set to lowest. Number of bots is lowest and AI as well
