Well, first off, I'm talking with IIIM3. We're still discussing, and it's likely that it will be BF 2.

Personally, I'm going for 2142, so I can show everyone my skills, where I PWN.

 

cuz of my lappy it has GMA 950.... but my desktop can handle it OK. Just need to buy the freaking game ( when i get some extra money tho LOL)

 

Get Battlefield 2142, don't get Battlefield 2 when you have the chance
. More servers are coming out now for 2142, and including more expansion packs besides northern strike.

Yeah, just wait, that used to happen to me. Ea's servers are sometimes slow. Just keep playing, and your points will still be recorded. It'll come up sooner or later and you will be promoted. I'm 100% sure of this, with first hand of experience.

I don't even have battlefield 2 installed on any of my computers even t hough I have the game. I'm too lazy to install it, then update to the latest patch, and then try to figure out what my username and password was for that game. In fact, I don't even remember the maps, so I'll be owned 50 times before I kill a single person. So if the first one is goign to be BF2, I think I'm gonna skip out on it, and wait for when it's BF2142

Sorry, BF 2 demo doesn't have online capabilities. Anyways, i'm organizing things right now, trying to get things together, so still be patient people.

 

The bf2 demo has online capapilies. Its centered around the gulf of oman map.

 

They discontinued the servers for it. have you tried it? I read it off some website.

Dislikes/Weakness in either game or both(if any): I cannot fly at all. Conquest in bf2142 is boring. Jets are overpowered, so I dont play on jet heavy maps too much (wake).

Likes/StrongPoints in either game or both(if any): I would consider myself a pretty good sniper, as I have multiple "special spots" on many maps (esp in bf2). I will play any class needed, as I have all good unlocks in either game. I enjoy playing support and medic classes. I know all maps except night SF maps like the back of my hand.

I am very flexible on the weekends, but UCB has started, so that takes a lot of my time. Are we gonna add a clan tag and have our own map? Or are we gonna just find an empty server? Also, I recommend Ventrilo as the VOIP in bf2 does not work well with Vista.

Another note: my schedule is rather full for the next 10 days as PBS will be showing 3 hours of Ken Burns' documentary "the war" each night.

Hey guys, sorry for the wait, I'm waiting a response from my friend, he said he may be able to get us our very own server.

 

Well let me just say that for the time being im not able to play bf2142 coz my smartass left the cd in the disk tray of the computer thats getting fixed... so bad brownies to me. But in on the lighter note i do play both, tho BF2 players wont see me unless thier playing v1.0 only. different story altogether. ANYWHO
