Battlefield 2 Clan

Hey Guys!

I will soon be getting a new gaming laptop and will defiantly be playing Battlefield 2. I am new to the game and will be casual. I want to learn to play the game well with a great group of people. I was wondering if anyone here is in a awesome clan and/or refer me to one.

Yeah I will let you know, I will probably get the game faster then I get back my laptop back but I should have my laptop back by sometime by the end of august. I will probably make some name forerunner related . New to the game too, got a little tired of playing all rts games and only fear combat and for 10 bucks for the deluxe edition was a sweet deal.

Mother****ing rampage alot and texas battlegrounds because I have some friends on it. Been playin for a week till I had to send my lap to get repaired.

Mine name on there is forerunner I believe or the forerunner.

 

I sometimes go on texas battlegrounds too. My in-game name is crash. Maybe I'll see (virtually ) you sometime. I play on my desktop though, because my laptop hasn't arrived yet and when it comes it'll be better than my desktop.

 

Yeah definitely. The game took me some time getting used to because I was a console gamer and that was the first time I was playing an fps with mouse and keyboard in a long time. Took me a few days to become decent but I'm gonna suck again now because of the long break. Only thing I don't like about the game is the melee, one hit kill thing. Yeah is there even a buddy system for the fear combat so I can find you in the game?

Yea I've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks so I haven't played a while either. And the melee thing does get annoying occasionally, but it's quite satisfying when you do it

When you're on the multiplayer tab, at the bottom is a menu labeled "friends". If you input my name, "crash" <-no quotation marks, then you should be able to see what server I'm in if I'm playing. I usually play nighttime PST.

Cool necromas yeah let me know what other games you guys are into. What I will be playing is Company of heroes, sup commander, fear combat, and battlefield 2. Maybe I will buy MOH, guess try out the demo first.

 

I'm about to go get BF2, but right now I mainly play FEAR. My name in BF2 will reflect crash somehow. I'll update once I have it.

God, why not battlefield 2142, why is it always battlefield 2!? -_-

I can't use all my unlocks in battlefield 2, since i'm a brigadier general on 2142. >.<

 

Bf2 is much better than 2142

 

How so? It's more annoying in my opinion. Plus, it's much harder since the kits are not mixed together. ex: engineer only, anti tank only, it's a hastle.

The gameplay in Battlefield 2142 is more intense, and has a smoother engine than Battlefield 2.

I've been out of the FPS game loop for a long time, but I'm wanting to get back in. Would the $10 BF2 be a good place to start?

 

I'm willing to join in. Haven't played in about 7 months. Played the game consistently since release before that. I play more Special Forces but its not a problem.

Laptop comes sometime next month...or sooner. Parting out my main rig atm to get money together for a new build this Oct so I wont get to play until the laptop comes.

I never liked 2142, but all my friends love it.
