Hello,
I have very bad view distance when I play battlefield 2 on my DELL xps m1530, it's like fog, therefore I can't do my best with jets.
I think it's so because of 60hz setting, all other are max(aswell as view distance). Is there any way around to get around and make battlefield2 think I have higher hz display?

Some maps just have the built in haze. Probably for best frame rates.

Yes, the haze that looks like your viewing distance is cutting out prematurely. You'll get used to which maps have it, but it is definitely there to add an additional element to the game (and to keep people in Jets from pwning an additional 500 kills per map above their 200 kills).

It's very noticeable at Strike at Karkand...
But I think it may be so that people on buildings or cliffs can't snipe people from so far away that it ruins it.
Even though I want to do it.
I want to snipe. -
That haze bothered me at first, but after you play the map several times you just grow used to it.

who would wnt 2 play an fps that is just two teams camping at either sides of the map sniping each other...
its obvious its there 4 a reason
