Battlefield 2 isnt working on my system. I DLd the 1.4 patch and awaiting the 1.5 patch to fully DL.

    My specs are:

    Vista 32bit OS
    Duo T9400 @ 2.53Ghz
    4GB DDR2 RAM @ 800mhz (3.5GB usable from 32bit Vista)
    ATI HD 3650 (stock drivers)

Everytime I run in (patched to 1.4) it loads for a second then just closes. Anyone else have this similar problems running on Vista 32? Appreciate any help.

Does the full game open, or just the little "Battlefield 2" box? I know when the game thinks the computer doesn't meet the requirements it will open the BF2 box, but will crash before the game actually gets opened.

    Maybe update your drivers.

Ack! That issue wasn't addressed? I think it may be more of an issue with monitor hardware but considering it affected so many people that they would have found some work around.
